The website www.newt.cz strives for maximum accessibility of content and functionality.

The pages are designed with regard to the Czech Rules for creating an accessible website. Furthermore, they meet the main principles of accessibility according to the WCAG 1.0 methodology and according to the principles of the United Organization of the Visually Impaired and Blind - Blind Friendly Web project.

The structure of the layout and content is created by structural HTML 5. Visual presentation then using cascading styles (CSS).

Texts

All published texts are defined in relative units and it is possible to adjust their size arbitrarily using standard Internet browser tools (Ctrl + scroll wheel in the Internet browser).

Printing of pages

The website also includes CSS styling for the print version. All pages can be printed without any restrictions using the standard means of the Internet browser (by default, the printer icon in the navigation bar of the browser, or via the File - Print menu).

Input device independence

Control of published pages is not limited by the type of input device. The content can therefore be accessed both with the help of the mouse and the keyboard.

Output device independence

Access to website content is not dependent on the use of a particular type of output device. Whether it is an alternative internet browser, text browser, PDA, smartphone or voice reader.
